Why doesn't LinkedIn have the option to exclude current company people?

It is such a basic feature, where I don't want to let my company people know that I'm working outside of the company or looking for a job or post something around it. Why would I want my company folks to know about my side hustle?

Because it’s not fool proof.
At least that’s what I feel. There are so many ways people can still easily find out.
Hence I think it does makes sense to not have give false hope.
