Why experience people not given hike and freshers are hired as thrice as the exp. salary?

I don't understand why this happens the one who joined recently don't have any experience who is junir associate who gets paid more and more and when the senior asks for an hike which is always being judged by the managers who never wanna give hike and show partiality and gender bias and politics like same caste people will be getting hike. when the person who supposed to give hike is never responding to you giving you filthy reason forr a decent hike. What's the point of working there?? * * * * Do anyone relate to this situation?

Well because the older employee knows how the system is flawed so its better to hire someone who is clueless about existing systems

That's because the retention budget is 0. And the hiring always keeps increasing

In competitive industries like ours - software engineering, where talent acquisition is a challenge, companies need to offer higher salaries to junior associates to remain competitive and attract the best candidates.

However, they are less inclined to offer substantial salary increases to senior employees who are already established within the company because "ghar ki murgi daal baraabar".

It's human tendency to undervalue what one already possesses and to perceive external options as more valuable.

Everyone is FOMO driven. You, me, HR, manager, colleagues, company, everyone. At the end of the day, I have realised there's no point in pointing fingers.

When I am driven by FOMO for better work, projects and better companies, let my company be also driven by FOMO for better employees.
