Why people in tech hate BJP?
I have seen most of my friends and people are in tech always oppose the current Government. I agree, that current government is not great. But at same time, supporting parties like Congress doesn’t makes sense. Genuinely curious why people think current government is not doing good? I have seen road & rail infrastructure getting improved, defence budget being increased, government making investments in R&D, privatisation of government sectors, making existing processes efficient, and much more. Even the farm bills were good, now what is happening all the middlemen are making money. Communal riots have increased, but I don’t think the government is responsible, it’s people who ignite these riots. At last, why you think current government is not doing good?

Be thankful to all the governments over last 75 years that we didn't end up like Pakistan. No point in blaming Nehru. He deserves his due credit just like the way BJP Govt gets credit as well

Yes, they have done well during their times but I don’t see any strong leader in the current opposition.
Supporting Rahul Gandhi, just because they don’t want to see BJP in power doesn’t makes sense.
The current cabinet is really well qualified and doing good. (But not sure about Nirmala Sitharaman)

UPA cabinet was even more well qualified with P Chidambaram , MMS etc. However it is not a matter of pedigree but how they execute.
Other than NaMo and Gadkari, most ministers are useless in this cabinet
Here are some issues they could not address
1) Petrol Prices are highest in Indian history and flight Charges are highest as well resulting in high price of all essential commodities that depend on logistics
2) We have the highest GST rates in the world and Govt keeps on tinkering with Tax Rates for sunrise ectors like Gaming which does not give confidence
3) We have the highest tax rates in the world but does not get any facilities like free healthcare etc that other countries with similar tax rates have
4)The games played to buy MLAs and topple opposition Govts makes a mockery of democracy
5) Silence of PM and HM etc in issues like Manipur is highly concerning. PM seems to be more bothered about his image outside India that what is happening here
6) Modi doesn't speak to Media which I find very funny 🤣 as if he has something to hide when questions are being asked
Good Things as well
1) India is seen as a rising star and Modi as a world leader which Augurs well for future
2)Infra Work by Gadkari is highly commendable which will help us in years to come
3) We have been able to capture China +1 theme and attract manufacturing companies which will create more jobs

I am in tech and not hate bjp because of few reasons
No terror attacks like before in any part of the country except pulwana ( That's is exceptional case - Army is still struggling to streamline the security became of Locals Support)
Recent developments: Road, Rail and Metros is constantly evolving
Controlled COVID situation effectively
Employment and Layoff, Better than US, UK
Better than other political party where all the political parties coming together but where is the USP, Who will be the leader and Stability?

My friend death became a hidden statistic under bjp’s so called covid management. We never got to see his body as well as well - the hospital disposed it somewhere and we don’t even know if he got a proper funeral.
People were dying and our government did nothing. I know you are going to say - “it could have been worse “. That’s the bjp motto - hypotheticals and whataboutism.

If you still don’t know why the current government is not doing good, itself tells how much interest you have interest in politics and which party you blindly support.
Its rightly said, privileged people might never be able to understand what all an underprivileged goes through.
Regarding your statement about Communal Riots, makes me think how can someone be so ignorant? Like seriously? Dude if you have even an iota of wisdom, think before you speak!

Thanks for sharing your wisdom. That’s what I am asking share the points where government hasn’t done well.
Also, points which makes you feel the other parties can improve the situation.
I mentioned my points above why I think the current government is doing good. Also, I do not come from privileged background, built everything with scratch and currently paying 30% in taxes.

Pros: Great product, good tech
Cons: absent gtm, clueless leadership, leadership quitting, of late we’ve been asked to make do with what we have leading to bandwidth issues.
It’s a gully were in, but looks like it could be tougher to get out with every passing quarter if we don’t double down on gtm
Culture : people are good, respectful, gets taxing only when bandwidth issues hinder delivery
