Yubi attrition and change across HR and Marketing

Just wanted to give some updates now that it has been 1 month since the last post 1) Senior Leadership from Tech (3) , a senior director from Product , Finance Head have all resigned. Strategy team has been dissolved. 2) There are more people in the pipeline and will get more clarity by month end. 3) Everyone over the CTC of 60 lakh has been asked about the revenue that they bring in and based on that, their position is being reconsidered. 4) All contract workers have been terminated. Interns have been told that they won't be receiving PPOs. 5) Senior Management Has been asked to take 20% paycuts. 6) Even at Junior level, people have been asked to take pay cuts or resign. 7) Lots of tools used in tech are being removed and AWS subscription has also been revised. Meanwhile HRs have been celebrating on slack channels that Yubi has been ranked in Top 25 companies for career development :/

Hi , this post is intended to be a disclaimer to anyone who is planning to join Yubi. A lot of things are happening here that show some signs of an impending layoff 1) Several senior folks in tech and product have quit. Also there is no replacement hiring planned for them. Several projects are also getting shelved as a result. 2) there were several open roles a few weeks back and almost all of them are on hold as of now across all depts( tech , business , ops) 3) rampant cost cutting. The lunch options have been reduced to just 1 dal , 1 veg , rice and chapati. Snacks have been removed too. Because of several folks quitting in less than 6 months and no replacement hiring , load has increased tremendously on existing members who are themselves trying to leave. People have serious doubts on whether any hike or bonus will be given or not this year.

What's up with the HR-Tech folks? Anything cooking in this industry Recruitment is a 200 yr+ old industry - Why are only a few B2B startups in this space? (Zoho, GreytHR.. - Can this industry get rid of Agencies? - What USP can help in this space? Anyone who can help get insights?

M,35 with 10 years of IT B2B marketing work ex. Got laid off this month because of petty office politics. So joined this company in Jan 23. All was going well until the person who hired me left the org and a new external person took the charge. She wanted senior level(20+ years) folks into marketing leadership team and decided to revamp the team. Got a couple of people from her earlier org for senior leadership roles. Also, a Salesperson who was a long timer at the current organisation and who was in my role 3 years back, decided to move back to marketing team as his Sales role was in danger. This led to the domino effect leading to my role getting redundant as my boss preferred the sales cum marketing person with 20 years workex. As a result - i got laid off! Mind you there was no issue with performance as i got an increment mid year because of excellent performance which is also mentioned in the role redundancy letter. Searching for Tech marketing role in the areas of Product marketing, demand generation preferably in Pune or remote roles. Appreciate any help in this regard. Thanks.

Hi folks. Have there been any recent layoffs at Yubi in the product team? Lots of CVs floating around and plenty of people using LinkedIn Premium.

She is one of the best leaders at Yubi who looks after her department's members and doesn't backstab others or brown nose the CEO. Also is one of the very very few people in Yubi's senior mgmt who actually know what they are doing. The ongoing culture depreciation at Yubi was not unwarranted. Most of the good leaders got fed up with the CEO and his yes men decision making process and left. The culture created by them can be read about on Ambitionbox and glassdoor.
