A Genuine Intrigue

Long story short- is it absolutely imminent for me to be a haraami to make it big in a workplace?

I’ve around 5 years of experience, I’m decent at what I do, am smart, very charming and can talk well. I’m very always spoken my mind whether it has been senior management or people working with me.

Do I really need to be a bootlicker to make it big? Do I need to be a yes man to make it big?

Are genuine qualities not rewarded in workplaces anymore?

A question to all senior management ladies and gentlemen- do you witness these qualities and ever take it into notice?

Honest questions. Let me know what you’ll think.

The only way I see is — don’t make your boss work and you’ll succeed. Bootlicking helps in navigating the politics but I don’t think you’ll grow just because of that. You got to have skills. And if your skills are exceptional then remember what Baba Ranchord das Chajjed said—chase excellence and success will follow.

You have to be sharp and cunning. Upper management cares about results. The end. Always complete your homework. People will publically try to downplay your achievements, and you have to be ready with an appropriate response. Word travels fast. You'll get there.

Good luck

Just curious??

How much chamchagiri / bootlicking is prevalent in your company..

For me - my seniors wouldn't stand a chance if they leave the same company.
