What have the recent corporate layoffs taught you?
Post COVID layoffs where brutal. Seems companies now are not shy to lay off people as and when required. What lessons did you learn from it. How has your outlook towards work changed ?
Having recently been laid off, these last 2 months was a life changing experience and it taught me a lot of things than any degree or organisation ever did. Some pointers:
No bro, this is what I felt after being laid off myself and seeing a lot of great folks around me getting laid off for the mistakes made by people sitting above us. It hurt me a lot and I will never forget these 2 months of my life and also the folks who helped me or turned their back on me.

When was it not transactional? People shift jobs even every 6 months when offers are flying about. Companies fire when times are bad..sometimes you are the winner, sometimes you're the loser. Hope there is a job for you soon if you don't have one already!

I was laid off last year, the CTC was reasonably high there (110k USD base, not practical in India ik... Maybe that's why they had to cut us off). That of course was quite a down time but I was happy that I had a lot of side projects in ...
It's getting dirtier by the day and sure some orgs are still up to their dirty tricks.
