Is this a good time to go for higher studies (in management or similar)?

Hi folks, I got laid off in Sept. since then looking for a Job. market is so scary. Few questions: 1. a lot of companies are hiring through crewscale, etc. they are offering low salary as per the role. are companies paying low salary to them or they are taking a big cut? do people treat them differently once they join a company via crewscale? 2. I am not able to get my resume shortlist for mncs. what to do now? recently my friend got a call from razorpay gehy were offering for sde role 15 lakh for 2 years experienced. they were paying 22 lakh for sde 1 last year. the role is not product engg or solution ennggg that they recently introduced for low salary. it was sde role. fat rhi h ab. kya kru?????? my exp: 2.5 backend

Hi Guys, I am working as a software developer in Oracle( btech from old IIT) . Its been 2 years and I now want to switch to management consulting (preferable in MBB) to experience it so want to give MBA. 1. I did some research but I want to gain some information on the salary aspect of it. I heard that the salaries are not that high they would probably be in the same range that I am getting now. BUT, I want to know in the long run do consultants get more hikes compared to tech roles? 2. I heard the wlb is pretty bad so is there some resource that I can study to know if thats the right suit for me since its a big risk I’ll be taking moving on to a different field. There are some good exit opportunities also I believe after MBB can someone tell more about it. Would really appreciate some answers on this. Its on my head for a long time. Cheers!

I am a frontend engineer in a startup with a CTC of 7. I am also from a tier 3 engineering college graduated last month. I want to become a product manager in the future. So my question is what things I should to achieve my goal. Will doing an MBA help me, if yes which is more better MBA from old IIM’s, ISB or global MBA ?

I am a final year mechanical engineering student who wants to get into product management, i have two internships and one certification but that's a different story as most of the people having better interships and skills are struggling to land an offer , i would be graduating in June 2024 and before that I want to land at decent product role at entry level , i have 6 months left what should I do , how can I stand out being a tier 3 college student with mechanical engineering background, i am learning and following product management since past 1.5 years

Any suggestions on what kind of degrees are rewarding after 2-3 years of work-ex as a software developer? I'm inclined to transition to product management roles. It seems that for MiM/MaM 0-2 yrs are ideal, for MBA >4 yrs.

I did my btech from IIT in 2022 and then have been working for the past 2 years. Now thinking of going for an MBA but confused about whether I should go to IIMs or go abroad for an MBA. I need help in deciding further steps as I want to plan it out for the year 2025. By that time I will have a work experience of 3 years. business/finance major, graduated in 2019, been working for 3yrs and 10 months, have doubled my salary since I started my career in 2019. Exploring options- masters in India only as abroad is expensive and doesn't make any sense in today's market. Have seen the fintech space closely boom as a 20y.o fresh out of college, and since then I've worked across sme financing, education financing, b2b credit card payments and now again back to education financing for a traditional nbfc. My roles have varied from strategy and operations, to investor relations/nbfc treasury to product management (current role) I wanted some advice/opinion from the community whether to continue on my career path or switch to masters- take a break of 18 months study from a great school and get back in the industry. Also, if I explore the later one then apart from the isbs and IIMs of the world are there even good 1 year mba programs in india?

I'm a 24yo M, into frontend engineering making over 18LPA. I'm also working part time for a startup. I'm considering masters in the UK, US or Canada on the same order of priority. my main reasons to even consider masters are the following - meet people from different backgrounds - get a better paying job with a work visa in a foreign country - FOMO as a lot of people i know from college are now abroad studying/working cons i see in this approach - heavy on the finances - economy isn't doing very well worldwide - job market is pretty bad rn - i have everything here in India (family, friends, a well paying job) my ideal case would be to get a visa sponsored job opportunity, but considering the economy and job market it seems impossible. would love to know opinions of some experienced folks or anyone who'd have some guidance for me. thanks.

Job hunting has been very challenging for me. Due to my negative first experience, I'm scared and skeptical about joining another company. Additionally, I don't expect a significant salary hike with a switch right now. I seek advice on pursuing a master's degree. Should I prepare for it? Is it worth it? Will it lead to a better package? I'm really confused between pursuing a master's and looking for another job. Any help, advice, or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
