Hi, Would love to know if anyone is doing freelancing full time or part time. Like how you folks started? How do you find clients regularly? Do you have indian clients or from US or Europe? Love to know more about this as I want to get started in the freelancing world.

Here's a little bit about my career: - I dropped out of college to build a design studio with 20+ people for 4 years before leaving that to start another studio. - I’ve worked across most major startups in Bangalore (not including brand names here for anonymity) - I’ve worked across brand identity design, UX/UI, social media marketing, ad films, animation/motion graphics, and 3D Happy to answer questions about design, freelancing, starting an agency/studio, the design industry, etc.

Hi everyone , I want to know if there are any freelancers out there or have knowledge of it ? I want to start freelancing and made an account on fiverr and upwork but I don’t know to start initially. Also, would leaving the job in the long run be fruitful for the sake feelancing as I see a lot of people make a lot more than corporate job. And last but not the least , I see a lot of people struggling to get money out of clients.

So I'm a Marketing & Growth Guy with 7 years of experience (Expertise - Performance Marketing) and currently working for Company abroad as a Growth Lead for one of their projects. I get 2.5 Lacs (In Hand) every month as a salary. Now the problem is, they hired me last year April. And product isn't ready till now. Whenever it is about to be ready, there's a new pivot that comes across and I go completely free. I've done only 2-3 mini campaigns. Also, its WFH so I've plenty of free time. And I'm wasting it by sleeping in the afternoon. It's like I'm getting free salary without doing anything. Recently I've started actively swing trading in Stock Market and have got 2 small freelancing projects - Just to keep myself busy. With this, I'm obviously not learning anything at work and also, there's a sense of insecurity that I'll be laid off anytime. What should I do? Leave it? Or continue my guilty pleasure? My age is 29 and I would want to move towards stability.

Hey folks, I want to dip my hand in freelancing. My job is quite laid back and i have a lot of free time. I have been grinding leetcode in my free time but I'm bored of it. So, I decided why not use this to expand my real working knowledge and earn some side income too. Any experienced freelance person, please guide on how to start and where to. I know it takes a serious hustle to break the first client. But starting itself seems daunting to me. Thanks for your time

Any advice on how to navigate the freelance/gig worker market? Also - would love advice on how do I start?

I am seeing lots of 22 years old who have opened their digital marketing agency and earning really good money by working with freelance clients who pay in dollars. I am starting up and I want a source of income. Don't really want to go to corporate job. Haven't had much success with freelancing. Cold mailing hardly works and gig websites like Upwork etc have lots of competition at some really cheap rate. What are the best way to getting freelance work with international clients? Any help would be highly appreciated.
