Quick question - Upfront cash component or TDS deducted

Which is better in tax saving context Upfront cash component - means I calculate tax and pay on my own. Employer is out of equation

I am assuming by upfront cash you mean paying Advance tax. Thats always the preferred method. There is no tax saving anywhere - you pay per what your income is.

Previous employment declaration while changing companies

Hey folks, if someone changes a company midway in the financial year, does it make sense to submit the financial details of your previous employment to your new employer? Asking because your deductions are taken into consideration separately in both the organisation if you don’t submit the details. There are 2 cases here 1. You submit, and fix your tax for the rest of the year 2. You don’t submit, save on the actual tax you’d have paid otherwise, and then pay during the ITR. That extra tax you saved, can earn you handsome money if you are in the 30% bracket What are the pros of the first approach and cons of the second approach?

Need help for ITR

Hi, experts I was filing itr, so needed help, I started my job from May 2022, but before that I did an internship where I got salary credited to my account , it was around 1500 for one month (March) for this assessment year and also they did deduct a tds of around 300 rupees which I can see on my itr home page . So should I include those amount in my gross income while filing tds ( I have only included my current gross salary) ?

Hi folks, I have one question regarding HRA deduction. I am paying rent to my parents and then claiming it under HRA deduction. Recently my HRA increase and now I am planning to pay 50k as rent to parents in new financial year and claim HRA. Previously I was paying 30k. Is there any issues with that? Thanks!
