System design interview preparation
Is it to sufficient to read books like Design data intensive applications and books from Alex Xu sufficient for system design interviews?
If not, then what other resources would help?
Thanks in advance!
I am a software engineer with 1.5 years experience, considering switching. I have realised having system design knowledge is now a must, hence have searched multiple resources. I am quite confused as to which one to follow, don't want to waste much time on this. Would like to know from you all, the resources that you have followed for system design which helped you successfully clear system design interviews as a result.
Currently I am leaning towards System Design Primer repo + System Design Interview book.
Go for system design playlist by concept and coding, gaurav sen
By gaurav sen you mean his youtube playlist or his interview ready course? His course is a bit costly😅 is it worth it?
YouTube playlist itself. No need to go for courses. Just learn the concepts and try implementing in real life use cases in your job or personal projects
