Anyone here from Livspace - how is the company doing, because the growth at this scale is quite impressive!

Livspace layoff 2% or 100 employee. Majorly from tech, product, content and marketing.

How is Livspace to work at? Discussion is ongoing for a Central/Category role there. 1. How is the runway of the company? 2. Is there really any moat for the company? Will it survive in the long run? I keep seeing positive and negative customer reviews in social media. 3. How is the WLB there?

I’m planning to get interiors done for my new house and was curious if anyone has done their interiors through livspace. I see their ads which mention 10year warranty, 48 days installation etc etc. wanted to know if it is better to go with local vendors or livspace.

In last 6-8 months there has been lot of layoffs and many startup getting scrutinised due to funding etc.. But I can’t see Oyo name anywhere… Not much layoffs or nothing on their crunch. Are they doing good or successful?

I'm seeing so many posts where startup employees are cribbing about things like layoffs, work culture etc etc. Doesn't seem like they have perspective on everything it takes to build a startup. I've built a failed startup myself and have immense respect for founders who are grinding it out there in such difficult recessionary circumstances. And then you have so many of the engineers and PMs cribbing about basics without talking about important things like learning growth, building for the future etc. Why such myopia? I work at a big tech and envy the speed at which startups move, the big responsibility everyone gets to handle, the fast career growth. All these things are being cribbed about. They crib about founders wanting more. Their job is to ensure success, not to give lifetime jobs to entitled people. They have more headaches you can imagine. In my small startup I had a million headaches. I can only imagine how hard it must be to run larger ships. Is everyone joining a startup these days looking for a get rich quick scheme?

Do VCs also have this underdog spirit? The early-stage VC, take a lot of risk in investing at a pre-revenue startup. How do they scout such founders? What are the key attributes they look for in the early-stage team, which are pre-revenue and have an MVP?
