I don't have figures to back, but what I've observed is "family trips" are mostly done by the friendly neighborhood "travel operator", and the DIYers is very small slice of population.
Next time be shameless and ask indians traveling abroad how's their trip, chances are they're feeling scammed by operator, and don't trust apps.
Have you thought of charging subscription fee? Because there are plenty of advisors charging 500-1500 rs for itinerary with booking at preferencial rates through programs like accor HERA/ Virtuoso / etc (also gets changes of upgrades without loyalty status too) and flights (with tips to utilise airmiles or make alliance bookings)
Travel is intimate thing and people atleast at upper side would prefer individualized service with human touch.
I'm assuming you're not targeting folks searching for ₹1000 nightly room in singapore, as that won't even leave a scope of partner kickbacks for bookings done by your platform.
I know I'm sounding like idiot who'd dismiss the idea of cloud storage, but how many of us are paying for that.
On the face of it this seems a genuine gap in the market but I'm apprehensive of above mentioned features.
