Amazon to layoff 10,000 employees
According to a report, Amazon will be terminating 10,000 jobs starting this week, which represents less than 1% of its 1.5 million global employees and around 3% of the company's corporate staff.

The spokesperson said- “We regularly review the structure of our teams and make adjustments based on the needs of the business and, following a recent review, we’ve made the difficult decision to eliminate a small number of roles on our communications team.”

What is the legal stand if a company is laying off without giving notice. They want us to serve a notice period before leaving but never give a notice period to search for a job.
