Any cloud seeding experts?
As cloud seeding is widely used by governments across the world to induce artificial rain, I wonder why Karnataka Government has not yet explored this path. They seem to have all the scientific support in the form of DRDO,ISRO,AIR FORCE locally available.
Can someone throw some light on this?
Cloud seeding was introduced in Dubai to tackle extreme heat waves in the city. I don't think it would serve as a source of water to consume. Especially in a dense populated city like Bangalore. Certainly it can be used to cool down the city during summer but I don't think it will solve the water problem.
Even if we have extreme rainfall, where would the water go? We don't have proper bore wells, rain water harvesting nor lakes (which once existed).
Can't it be used to replenish the ground water level?
