Any one from Talent acquisition can confirm this mumbers?

Just curious if you are really getting these number of Resumes or this count really doesn’t matter?

Most of the resumes we receive are irrelevant or get lost, a lot of such roles are closed either through referrals or talent mapping.

Generally companies are very specific in terms of the kind of industry and companies the person has worked for in the past.

How do you manage to look into these anyway?
It gets scary with this competition. Already imposter syndrome has taken over :/

Mostly recruiters unfortunately don’t depend on inbounds to close roles.

This is Easy Apply ka problem. One click. Also it's 100% true. I've used LI for hiring. Literally that many come. I've just replied on companies worked at + designation before which comes as a summary in a list before clicking on the candidate. But yeah if there was a hidden gem from not a cool company - would've never been there on my mind.

Anyone who clicks on apply but doesn't complete the process is also counted in LinkedIn i think. That being said seems kinda low

Easy apply option has very less steps. Few redirects it to lever or their career portals i think. But yaar ye count dekh ke demotivation ho jata hai
