Today I got call from HDFC RM first time in my life instead of selling some shady product he called for FD, "Sir FD karalo sir, new intrest rate launch hue hain", I was shocked, had sit in chair for two minutes to get a grasp of what had just happened

Hi, I'm a fresher. I want to know, are there any benefits of having a salaried account in a particular bank? If so, which ones do you suggest would be the best one. My office has a tie-up with HDFC bank.
Zero benefits. It's a basic banking product. HDFC is as good as anything else.
