
Any travel tips for Darjeeling gangtok and Sikkim
I am planning a 7-8 day trip in the month of May, Any particular itinerary to follow or any hidden gems I should pay a visit to . Please share your experiences if any. Also should I go through a travel planner or plan on my own.

Darjeeling can be covered in 1.5 days at max. Then get a shared jeep (very common, ask locals) to gangtok- 400 rupees or so.
East Sikkim can be done in a day- Nathu la pass, OLD Baba Mandir (pls do visit this. The older one) and tsongmo lake. If gurudongmar is open, do go there but I'd suggest speaking with a provider for a package for yumthang valley and gurudongmar since permits are required. On MG road itself you'll find a few your providers. That was North Sikkim . To the west, try ravang la and 4 dhaam

Include Bhutan as well.

While going to Sikkim, assuming you go by car, try to get a car with Sikkim plate, there's some tax or something that results in WB plated car being costlier.
