No, they don't pay this in India. In the US counterpart, the pay levels are high but not 75k USD for 1 YOE.
I was working with CAT in Chennai for 2 years from 2020-21. I had 1 YOE when I joined them. My remuneration was 9L base and it was raised to 11L on the next year's appraisal. Also, if this helps, the position was Associate Software Engineer (Internal Job Grade 20).
