Dude, this is really super frustrating but you should see at the brighter side at least your application made it past the first hurdle. Though it does not necessarily mean they are moving to the next step right now!
Most big companies like Infosys take time at this stage. Sometimes it’s just the volume of applications or maybe some internal stuff going on that delays things. It’s totally normal for these steps to drag on a bit—just part of the process you know!
Even though it’s tempting to keep refreshing that status, try to hang tight for now. If another week goes by without any update, it’s fair to reach out to their HR and ask what’s up. In the meantime, keep your options open and continue applying elsewhere. Good luck—you’ve got this!
"Shortlisted After Screening Infosys" status was a similar experience for me when I just applied at Infosys. I got excited to discover that my status changed to green after clearing the first test. But after two weeks, the status changed to orange, and I haven't heard anything more since. The lack of clarity about the next steps has been disappointing. All I can advise if you're in the same situation is to be active and fair. It's currently an empty game, but maybe Infosys will get in touch soon.
If you have appeared for an interview at Infosys and the status of your application shows a yellow or orange colour, it implies that your candidature is still in consideration. It is not a final selection yet, there may be further stages to the selection process. Also, there are several candidates the company may have shortlisted for evaluating against certain parameters.
Furthermore, there are chances of people being rejected at this stage as well. Hence, even though you may be shortlisted after screening Infosys, until the green colour appears as the status of your application, you will have to wait. Please wait for 2-3 weeks before checking with the HR.
I applied to Infosys lately, and I was told that my application was "shortlisted after screening." It was first rated as green, but after two weeks, it kept coming in orange. I am now concerned about what to do next because of this. I was hoping for hearing back quickly, but the delay has me worried that there are problems with my application or if hiring is moving too slowly. I'm attempting to exercise patience because I've heard from others that the Infosys hiring process can be lengthy. On the other hand, I'm hoping to hear back about my application quickly. I'm excited to proceed but unsure what to expect from this "shortlisted after screening Infosys" stage.
I recently applied for a position at Infosys and reached the "shortlisted after screening" stage, which has been marked in orange for the past two weeks. The initial screening was marked green, so I felt hopeful. However, waiting for an update has been stressful. It is unclear what this status means, and there hasn’t been any communication from Infosys during this time. I expected a quicker response, especially after reaching this stage. I hope to hear back soon about the next steps in the process. If anyone else has been in a similar situation with being "shortlisted after screening Infosys," I would appreciate any knowledge you can share.
