Are you still getting Covid salaries?

Hello fellow viners.

There was a huge hiring spree in second half of the pandemic, people got 100 percent and some cases with 200 percent salary hikes. People with 16 LPA got 35+ LPA salaries. But now as things aren't going so well (Thanks to the US). And the companies laying off people, delaying salaries, and giving no hikes. How many of you are still getting those BIG paychecks?

PS. I didn't switch during that period, which I regret. Also, my company is not revising compensation this year.

I am pretty sure salaries aren’t affected as much as they’re in US. It’s just jobs are less, so bar is even higher or at least less favourable to less prestigious folks. You can just shave off 2-5L and that’s all the impact here afaik

I take a pay cut every year due to inflation. Involuntarily, of course.

Silent layoffs upcoming 😔

I got to know a senior leadership member at a popular startup suggested to deliberately do poor appraisal for an employee so that she resigns herself.

Bad times ahead with companies forcing employees to join back offices and planning si...
