Need suggestion on transitioning career from automation lead to devops Engineer.
Whether this career change will be a good option or not.
If not what will be next career option which will help for long run in IT industry to survive.
If yes what's the learning path and by learning azure devops whether this will give more boost to career or not in devops journey.
DevOps jobs are declining comparatively because now they are required/hired only for the core DevOps stuff.
The rest of the part of DevOps is supposed to be handled by the engineers themselves.
You can switch to DevOps if you want but you have to keep this in mind.
Apart from that there are other paths like Automation or Test Architect, QA Manager, EM, etc.
