The Modi Government is really gunning for the moon shot. Unheard of and unmatched levels of support is being given, in terms of both hard and soft infra.
Any investment has a gestation period. And hopefully we will bear fruits with time.
Having said that, the wrestling, badminton, archery, weightlifting and boxing contingents were disappointing. All of them did poorly. And this needs a serious analysis as to why the players fell well short of the mark. Criticism is in order as well. We criticise our cricketers. There is no reason why those who seek as much attention space from us as we bestow upon cricketers, should be given a long rope when we don't do so for their cricketing colleagues.
