What's your take on team members that have stayed in orgs for more than 10-15 years

Two perspectives: people are averse to change (challenge) and hence staying at an organisation for a long time Or People realise that in order to grow to the top (SVP to CXO roles) and to further to have deep impact, they will stay in an organisation for a longer. Staying in the same organisation doesn't mean one shouldn't be the best. Also, the SVP to CXO roles that I'm calling out are not those requiring some 10 yoe, but 15-20+

Imo beyond a certain point in lfe people lose the will to fight. It could be because of a personal situation or simply because they feel it's not worth it. These are the ones who stay in the same company for a long time. If you notice, it's people with less than 10yoe who keep talking about growth and promotion. Building a rapport with colleagues, with your boss, with the job takes times. Many are not ready to do that all over again every 3 to5 years. It's just not worth it
