How do you deal with friends who upon meeting always wants to talk about their packages and work.
So I have couple of friends from college and I meet them during weekends. Whenever I meet them they wanted to talk about how much they have given taxes, what their salaries is or how they worked this week. I know that work gets too much and sometimes you need to vent somewhere, but everytime we meet this is becoming too much. Sometimes I feel a bit out of place as they comparatively earn a lot than me. I meet them to clear things out of my head and prepare for next week,but this constant comparison is getting too much for me. I have asked them to talk about some other topic but sometimes after we come back to discuss the same things.
Find new friends to chill with , life's too short for everything to be a dick measuring contest or just tell them to change the topic for once

Find different friends, or find something else to do. Too much materialism, not enough touching grass or going out and meeting new people.
Finding new friends is the issue.
The people I meet in Bangalore seems to distant, these are the guys we I went to college with so I decided to meet them

I understand, but everyone has multiple friend circles buddy. Work friends, school college friends, and those outside work and education circles. All are equally important to have, else you end up getting echo chambered.
In my opinion those ppl are not friends. Those people who would be more interested to talk about your well being and non professional discussion are good friends.
