Should I or Should I not?

Software engineer with 2.5 YOE working for US based mid sized company with CTC of 25 LPA base + 1.7 lacs bonus + 10 lacs worth esops. Just wanted to know is this upto the market or should i look for better opportunity. Looking for answers . P.S Its a permanent wfh

Hello all I have approx 15 years of experience and out of which 12 has been in USA (Silicon Valley) with some of the renowned tech companies. (No FAANG though) I am considering to move back to India and was wondering what kind of CTC I can expect. Here is my profile: 15 years of experience in industry. Have been a senior/lead software engineer/architect in these companies. Have tried some sort of leadership too. Been a global conference speaker and author too. Currently, I'm employed at Cognizant, with 2.5 YOE in developing AI chatbots and other AI applications using Microsoft Azure cloud services. My current ctc is 9Lpa. Should I stay with Cognizant or consider switching for a higher salary?

I am basically confused, I really want to experience other culture in general; but for me in India I cannot experience or explore anything other than work like 24/7 availability, late night work and the current work requires me to work in US timezone and let us address the elephant in the room taxes in India, now hear me out taxes in EU are high but the benefits are good compared to India like WLB (especially being an SRE/Devops), less stressful work environment. I do not want anyone to mess with me after 6 PM post work. I feel risk >>>>>>> regret I got an admission at a University in EU region but I am seriously contemplating the possibilities ? Please leave your comments, Is anyone on the same boat ?

I'm a software professional making 50LPA in India. Getting offers from Germany, Spain for 100000 euros per year. What should I choose? Relocating to Europe or stay back in India? How are savings in European countries compared to India? I know quality of life will be better in Europe. But is it true that you feel alone there (being away from family)? Anybody with similar experience?

I am currently working (2 yoe) at a decent service based startup (CTC 7L) but I feel like I could do much better. This job feels easy (nothing new to learn). #background I graduated in electrical from a tire II college, since I fell in ♥️ coding (thanks to robotics club and YouTube) i choose this career, but now looking at all the other profiles I feel i am not getting access to those cheese jobs, kind of those that have high scope to learn and earn. So I feel like getting into a top college and getting a masters in CS might help me. What do you all think ? [Thinking about Germany because of no tuition fees and safety]

Hi all, I have got my HR round discussion at Accenture for the position of Application Lead coming up next week. Hence I thought of picking your brains to resolve a conundrum regarding a reasonable salary that I can ask for. Location: Bengaluru Current CTC: 15 LPA Expected CTC: 23 - 26 LPA TechStack: Mainframe Developer YOE: 9 years. Can you let me know whether my expected CTC is a reasonable amount considering my YOE, tech stack and location. Or should I ask for more/less ? Thanks for all the advice/suggestions !

I am 31 M and am married with no kids as of yet. I have been to the US for my master's and also did a job there for some time. I came back to India in 2020 due to visa issues. Ever since then I have been thinking of going out of India, maybe to Canada (or nowadays Nordic countries are also accepting immigrants). But I am confused and unsure of what to do. I feel stuck here at my current job and feel like I haven't grown much. There are a lot of opportunities in other countries and the biggest motivation is lifestyle upgradation. On the other hand, going to other countries would also mean a lot of struggle at this stage of my life, which I did the first time around when I went to the US. Plus there is this war situation happening in multiple countries. No one knows what will happen of that. One more factor is - India is also doing fairly well and is seen as having the maximum growth potential in the next 5-10 years What do you suggest? What are the points that I should consider? Also if I were to try to move out, which countries would you recommend I look at? What are the benefits? Help please!!!

Lets discuss here our current CTC and YoE along with Designation. More experience people will tell us if need to switch. Mine is 13.1 LPA with 6 Years and 4 months of experience.
