Bloomberg or The Economist
Suggestions needed- is Bloomberg Terminal better or The Economist . PS: There was intelligence that Bloomberg Journalist could check user data.
What are some data points/charts/graphs/tables that are not on trading platforms, but are there in a Bloomberg terminal?
Genuinely curious as to know what edge does a Bloomberg terminal have and why is data not decentralised or made it available+accessible to all

For stocks, consensus forecasts are the most useful feature on Bloomberg. Also having a global database of nearly every listed stock in the world for their entire history is very useful. Also things like conference call transcripts are available immediately on Bloomberg after the call ends.
Bloombergs chat feature is also useful since every major fund manager is active there. Their excel plugin is also very powerful and you can update data points on Excel very easily.
For credit - getting data is generally a problem and friends tell me that certain data points are unavailable anywhere except Bloomberg.
