Brand Equity Vs CTC

Hi,

Needed some advice from senior folks of Grapevine.

Context: I am a strategy consultant with over seven years of work experience across two of the Big 4s and one global IT Research and Advisory giant. I recently interviewed with an Indian ITES/ BPS listed entity who is planning to expand their consulting practise, and got selected for the role of Senior Consultant responsible for building the practise as well as delivering client facing work.

Pros:

  • Exciting work profile
  • 40% increment on my current CTC

Cons:

  • Loss of brand name in resume
  • Less stable

Would appreciate your thoughts and suggestions. Thanks!

Take the opportunity. Increase income when you can. If you believe in your skills, stability shouldn't matter
