  1. think of a target audience who has money to pay you (eg. male 35-45 year old)

  2. try to solve a problem they might be facing (eg. don’t have time to look for cheap flight tickets)

  3. find a solution to their problem they would pay for (eg. a website with cheap curated travel deals)

Easier said than done, but could try it!

After building 2 startups, this is good advice to start with.

Start with a big/complex problem that you have a solution for. Then sell that solution at scale.

Big/complex problem? No, never. Start with a simple problem, try to fix it for a target audience. Startup is not "go big or go home".

@HelloCTO you do realise simple problems have simple solutions that can be made by anyone?

Where's the moat in simple problems that are easy to solve? Have you ever started a startup from scratch?
