It's really sad when this "only son", "only father" , "only earner" dies. But you can't blame the govt as well, they just can't give MSP for all other crops. I mean MSP should be given based on the farmer's financial conditions(Like we have a system of BPL cards) But in today's system the most beneficiary of this MSP scheme are the rich farmers who own 100 acres of land, why we need to support these rich farmers. We can rotate this capital and add more crops under MSP but only for poor and middle class farmers(Not the one who owns the Mercedes G class)
Yesterday I was watching shark tank about a woman who had so much loan on her due to a failed business but you know the funny part she didn't block the strets and threw stones. She worked hard again because life is tough for everyone equally. And today she was standing in shark tank with a new company.
Life is tough for everyone equally. Get used to it. Millions of people out there who opened business or farms but couldn't sell a single thing but still tried hard and didn't give up.
They were earning in crores. These farmers have never even seen a crore in their life and likely never will. Really bad comparison mate.
My only reason for sharing this was more proof that protesting farmers come from all walks of life. Not everyone is rich af, which people seem to think they are.

No. They are trying hard to get back a job and change their life around

Meh, you can protest without using vehicles and do sit-ins. Last time Canadian Truckers tried this shit Trudeau used emergency powers to remove them and freeze their bank accounts yet Canada is one of the Top 10 democracies according to almost all indexes. Delhi doesn't even allow old vehicles to enter and these people want to take farming vehicles that pollute a lot more than other vehicles. Even during the mass protests during the end of UPA 2 was there any protest involving taking large vehicles to Delhi ? Just unarmed protestors were dealt with water cannons.
All these fundamental rights are restricted according to the Indian constitution. Can an unvaccinated person claim the fundamental right of free movement on being denied entry to an airport,railway station and other public buildings ?
Bro you guys are sitting in Bangalore and posting this. I live near the area and these are definitely not farmers protesting also it's sad that this farmer had to go through all of this. But go read read about India's total budget and the impact of of MSP on the budget. If that gets approved them you will be sitting at home only and thinking of becoming farmer 'coz nothing will sustain after that.
