Let's tax the basterds!

From the perspective of a frustrated tax paying Indian - Aah, okay, fine.

But if they're gonna struggle, you ain't gonna eat! Agriculture is one of the most difficult profession. Revenue != Profit

Of course , this rich people purchasing agricultural land by naming them as farmers just to save tax is absurd, law needs to be changed to prevent such tax evasion. Mr. Bacchan and recently suhana daughter if shahrukh khan have declared themselves as farmers just to avoid tax on land purchased.

I’ve seen plenty of farmers with an eye-watering annual income. Don’t go on their soiled clothes and unrefined ways. I know whose net worth will put Microsoft and Google employees to shame.
But yes, farmer is a political identity in India and not a business. It’s also a legally allowed way to launder money. Hard to tax them.
