It's so sensational, but the reality is they are planning vs they have raised are two entirely different things.

Personally having spoken with multiple folks, i believe Byjus is extending these PR articles as part of either raising confidence or to jack up term deals from their active conversations in their favour by driving the optics from their POV.

Either Ways, till the point money hits the bank it's no fundraise. Investors back out as quickly as they sign you on but can move away as quickly if there is anything dubious in your DD!
