Does Naukri.com works for you now?

I have always been half pessimistic about updating my profile on Naukri? Does it really works? Has anyone received a call from it? I know it’s free, but is it even worth regularly updating my Naukri profile? Background: Growth Product manager with 7 years of experience in product based companies. CTC > 45LPA

It works only when you are on notice period. That golden button ‘serving notice period’ . Also, just keep updating once in a while. Not sure what is the logic but just update any letter of your name etc. Last would be to take the premium service. That too after discussing about the premium amount

A doubt about Naukri

Anyone had a phase where they weren’t getting even a single call from Naukri? Not even the ones that aren’t even remotely related to your profile? I am updating my profile everyday and still not getting even a single call. My profile was exactly the same in June and I had 3-4 calls coming everyday. I took a break from job hunting for two months and now it’s just..dead. Would appreciate any guidance or fix for this!

I worked as a SWE for 2.5 years at an Indian MNC, I honestly didn't like the project as my daily work used to on a legacy technology, My manager never approved me (or anyone for that matter) to move to a different project with good tech stack and challenging workspace. So, resignation was my only choice without any backup offer, which I chose and later I unfortunately had to undergo a surgery, My doctor had advised me to take 3 months break from everything and stay home. It's been 6 monts since I left my job, currently I am revising the concepts of Java (Core & Advanced), SQL, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap along with Spring Boot. My problem is do recruiters consider my profile, even if I get an opportunity, do recruiters consider my salary negotiation, and does my career break affect the hiring process? Please guide me. Thank you in advance!

I usually get calls from recruitment firms not from direct companies. And i feel LinkedIn is useless and never gets calls from the recruiter, how you get calls and get to know about opportunities. ?
