If you had no Liabilities but want to explore things. What would you do?

It will be helpful to me whoever see this post and comments your respected opinions on my situation. I am ome of the regular corporate employees of India who is earning 3.6LPA in reputed MNC working on Java support. As I need assistance on my career and don't know where to ask, posting here . So below are the options I wanted to do but I am confused where and what to start. 1) Should I upskill more on Java only 2) Should I need to switch to any other domain like AWS, Azure, cybersecurity 3) Should I need to do any other integrated course which will be available in platforms like Upgrad. Why these options means, I need to earn a decent salary par with Industry. These are the random options in my mind and I am unable to choose one thing. Due to this I am stuck in my career and my friends are earning more than me.

Hello everyone I am currently in my 4th year of Btech CSE and doing a 6-month internship in a fintech company Here I don't get to work on real projects just time waste tasks and empty assurances that one day I will get In FOMO, I did grind leetcode and also got a job but never been able to become very good at it I started doing projects (MERN) after work, on weekends it feels great to do projects but the thing is that I get limited time and the projects do not appear a big deal to anyone as I am making them on my own (No to " tutorial hell") gradually process of learning So my question is should I quit my job and develop my skills in MERN and other tech as I still have btech left it will not appear as a gap Also, I have 2-3 product ideas in my mind that I can work on Should I take a leap of faith?

I am currently working as QA at Keysight technologies which is a Electronics company, mainly focusing on automation with basic python.But I want to switch as backend developer, should I gain expierience of year as QA or join startup immediately at any pay?

So I graduated from a Tier 1 college (non IIT NIT) in May 2021, majoring in CS, and got a job as a Software Engineer. And then just after a few weeks changed to a more CS based good named company. Gonna complete a total 2 years of experience, but not feeling if I want to be in the same profession my entire life (even if I consider becoming an Engineering Manager at some stage, that would easily require me first taking atleast 5 more years as an SWE). Not like I don't like coding etc. but feels like this ain't for me. So at this point I'm confused if this is my current job that I am feeling like this and it would get better if I change (there was a false alarm like situation that happened when I started this job, so could be a bias), or go back to school to do an MBA (lately I've been getting attracted to it like a magnet) Even if I go for an MBA, I would want to try hands on on various specialisations (Sales, Marketing, Operations, Strategy), but will keep a good enough focus on Product, my prior tech knowledge could help me. Looking at both options, I've been in a dilemma since a very loooooonnngggg time, unable to decide which one to choose. Any people who've been in similar situations, can you please help me out ?

What do u think the career trajectory will be for Native Mobile developers after 4-5 Years of experience? ( Android/Ios) Personally I think there are less senior/staff roles in india unless we pivot to BE or people roles we will not have an uptrend in our career. And what do u think about Hybrid frameworks ( like RN and Flutter) ? should we adopt them ASAP ? or not required to grow in the career ladder ? ( Please add YOE while answering It helps to see how early devs vs Exp devs think )

I made a series of bad decisions, and for the last one year, I've been working as a data analyst, on third party payroll, and with 4 LPA package. I have 4 years of experience with gaps. The work is super hectic, and I am mostly working 9 to 11 just because the team is cheap to hire an extra resource and I am doing the work for multiple teams. I have to add that I have anxiety, and I have a difficult time saying no or asking questions. I was managing my life with this pay, but recently, I'm finding it a bit tough. I've been applying for different jobs, and i can't even seem to get an interview. I know unlike SDEs, analysts doesn't get paid on the same scale, but 4LPA seem to be a bit low. I don't know what else to add here, so please ask if any specific details are needed. I need to get my life sorted.

I am a software engineer with 3 years of experience .For the first two initial years I was working as a QA in one of the good product companies with a very sorted work life balance . I had recently switched to a BE role in a startup I am very much lagging behind here because of my QA background ,the people here are very much talented and are great problem solvers .How do I reach that level ? I have been struggling to keep up with the pace here and finding it difficult to approach the tasks,even though i have been giving so much of time to work . And the TL in my team have a certain amount of expectations and hence they don't help according to that .(which i feel is fair) How should I approach this and level up here Anyone with a similar background and story please share your experience :) Any advice would really help

I'm a Senior QA Engineer with 7.5 yoe in gaming, e-commerce domain. I've been severely burnt out due to covid, repetitive work in QA and nothing new or building. I've been exploring and interested in building products, startups, marketing, design, product roles. I'm in a crossroad to choose the next role I can focus on. What would you do if you were in my place? I'm also thinking to take IELTS and apply for MBA or some masters in Europe. How well would that workout?

So I'm a Marketing & Growth Guy with 7 years of experience (Expertise - Performance Marketing) and currently working for Company abroad as a Growth Lead for one of their projects. I get 2.5 Lacs (In Hand) every month as a salary. Now the problem is, they hired me last year April. And product isn't ready till now. Whenever it is about to be ready, there's a new pivot that comes across and I go completely free. I've done only 2-3 mini campaigns. Also, its WFH so I've plenty of free time. And I'm wasting it by sleeping in the afternoon. It's like I'm getting free salary without doing anything. Recently I've started actively swing trading in Stock Market and have got 2 small freelancing projects - Just to keep myself busy. With this, I'm obviously not learning anything at work and also, there's a sense of insecurity that I'll be laid off anytime. What should I do? Leave it? Or continue my guilty pleasure? My age is 29 and I would want to move towards stability.

I was recently impacted by layoff and having 20yrs of exp into application support and service management with last 10yrs grown into a middle management role(limited tech hands-on and no dev experience nor CS background) While I am financially ok atm and can manage staying at home for next 12-24 months, I am not financially independent yet. its getting too boring and I want to get back into some sort of work routine as I am keen on retirement yet. Challenges I am seeing with finding a new opportunity: - The job market seems to be quite restricted for senior roles with that experience - Few that came across were at a substantial low salary. - Some others required significant hands-on experience Thought process:: - While salary is not a major concern, I am not sure if I makes sense to take a pay cut. - Given the speed of tech changes, not sure what kind of learning/certification would be helpful - Even if I do tech self-learning, lack of practical hands-on seems to be a drawback - At 40+ while I am open to work hard and learn, i view is to find a job and learn into it , rather than other wat round Any guidance/pointers would be appreciated. As would any leads/introductions on suitable opportunities you know of.
