Hows the culture at CRED? Specifically across product and marketing?

How's the culture in Cred? Especially in Product/Data teams? And where are they from layoff standpoint?

Can someone tell me what the culture at Cred is like? I have gotten an offer from Kuvera, but even though the offer letter mentions Kuvera, they have been acquired by Cred and have officially moved to Cred office as well. Most of the ex employees of Kuvera I’ve spoken to, have told me to not join it. But at the same time, there are people who have been working there for 3-5 years. I’m not sure if them moving to Cred is going to have any impact on their culture yet, and if I should even bother. All I know, is, that the money I’m being paid is definitely not worth it if the culture is as Ex-employees are saying. I also don’t have a lot of offers on hand, so there’s that as well. I have until Thursday to make my decision, any suggestions will be helpful. Thank you!

Given the current funding winter and companies are now chasing profitability metrics, how is CRED’s future looking given they are more focused on experience and experience and there doesn’t seem to be a big monetisation play and more gimmick. Need some insights to make a decision for job offer

All the cool marketing and UI/UX aside I find myself wondering what's up with Cred? Here are my questions, knowledgeable product folk or better yet people from Cred or who worked at Cred can you please help with the following questions (and associated complaints) 1) What's the point of the store anymore? The brands are actually far less premium than they're made out to be. Plus you don't get access to exclusive products. 2) The reward system is just sad now, why have they changed the logic and reduced the monetary rewards so much? What were just PLG features like earning cashback for referrals is a voucher now plus the Rs. 1 cashback is just insulting at this point. 3) I used cred cash once and I'm not going to need much more. But I'm wondering if you're catering to the top 1%, do they really need liquidity at 9% interest? 4) Cred Mint seems like a worthwhile proposition, however the returns are only marginally better than the best FDs out there. Also if they're partnering with Liquiloans, which primarily lends to other startups, isn't that risky? How will they guarantee returns if someday Liquiloans goes under?

Gave an interview for Product Ops at Cred. Didn't convert, but the overall experience was great: 1. HRs were empathetic and helpful - called after a week to give detailed feedback (covered what they liked, didn't like, what they were expecting) 2. Interviewer was also nice and keen to know more about my experience They were expecting a good understanding of growth and metrics, and I didn't have much experience with that, so I got rejected, but overall, it was an excellent experience. I have been putting all my recent bad interview experiences here, so why not also put a good one! :)
