Hey guys I’ve never travelled solo in my entire life. Where and How should I start? There are few questions I’ve like: 1. How to handle accommodations? 2. Concern about the safety and security. 3. How to decide which places to visit. I mean can’t roam around uselessly, must have a list of places to visit. 4. Whom to believe, in the sense that, a lot of people are ready scam you when they find you are new here, how to handle that. If you travel solo very often, then suggest some pointers to keep in mind. Mine was for Gokarna! 😅 It was a quick excursion, I had to travel from Bangalore to Delhi and wanted to get away for a day or two. I was meant to be in Delhi for a family gathering, but I delayed it by 2 days to fly. I just told my parents about the trip. Lol 😉 This was my first time experiencing a beach and totally loved it 🙌

What is the most unique/ weirdest/offbeat country/island have you visited? For me, haven't travelled much abroad but i did visit an island called JAVA in Indonesia which is 5-6 hours away from Bali and i trekked an active volcanic lake Kawa Ijen which is the most acidic volcanic lake in the world. Would love to hear more if anyone has visited to any similar place..

Outside of India. Budget 5-10 lakh . Need not be that high. If it's less but still great that's better as well. Consider atleast couple of week's time.

I want to focus on - health (shed 20kgs) - travel (Europe region) - get into relationship (have been avoiding this from last few years; after a not so good breakup) - give lot of job interviews; checkout what market has to offer - start a side project (low code/ no code) - prolly do some yolo trades

Reddit hasn't been helpful, so here goes nothing. I, a 24 yo single child with over protective parents who jas never let me go on trips until last year, have decided to go on a community trip. it is via one of those Instagram pages who take a bus full of people to remote treks, have all the rooms+food+expenses covered in one fee. they will be going to tirthan valley and its a 3days trip. i have mixed emotions. i am feeling excited, adventurous, a bit raunchy and a whole lot of scared and conscious. The crime patrol and delhi crimes have ruined a lot of dreams for me, and have made my parents downright paranoid. i have recently been feeling like a kid who gets everything from someone else and don't know how to survive on my own, so want to close my eyes a bit, trust the world and take this adventurous trip Well that's the post. I have been to trips with my parents and friends, so i will probably figure out what to take or not take. I don't wanna ask you, the audience to share some advice or be my damsel in distress but this step is scary, exciting and full of unknowns so just shared my thoughts. I will appreciate your thoughts on this too
