🚨 PF Query

So I was checking my PF balance through SMSing “EPFOHO UAN” to +917738299899. To my surprise, it reflected balance only with current company PF and did not include balance from previous company PF even though I had successfully transferred PF. Is this normal? In previous PF ID I do see everything was withdrawn for transfer request but the same amount I don’t see under the current PF ID. Does that mean the transfer is kept in separate entity which would not reflect in current PF ID? I am kinda scared if there is any chance of losing the previous PF amount. It was getting interest until transfer and now I don’t see that amount nor its interest acquired. Please help me through this concern

Check with your account on EPFO Passbook, if the details aren't matching then raise a complaint The website is very detailed and to the point

Ya it’s not matching. Basically I was expecting the transferred balance to reflect in my current PF ID but it does not. So I am not getting any interest on that presumably and idk where it got lost. The previous PF ID’s balance is 0 and total withdrawal is the entire amount.

Hold on, different PF ID? We have just one UAN. did new company create new account for you altogether?

Need help on PF

Hey guys, I left my previous company on Mar22. I accumulated sizeable pf amount. Then I made a switch to new company. In may22, i get a message from PF that they are auto transferring my previous pf balance to new pf account. However, i now realised that my amount had been deducted from prev account but never credited to new account. Can anyone please help?

Hi All , I am facing issue in PF details of previous organisation. In EPFO account PF history DOJ should be 2015 but there is mentioned DOJ and DOE both are same due to this 3 companies declined my offer with reason “discrepancies found “ . Meanwhile I have requested to previous organisation for correction but it’s been 7 days no response. Please 🙏 I need help if someone have any idea that how it can be resolved it will be really really helpful for me . I am already serving notice period and offer I got is on hold due to this issue .

I have recently switched job for the first time. New Hr asked for uan number which I shared. I have also received 2 months of contribution in same UAN account. Some people are saying I need to do a separate process of uan acount transfer? 1. Do I need to transfer UAN account from previous conpany to new? 2. If so how?

EPF Accounts Merge

I joined company A and worked there for 3 Years. Now I have switched and joined company B. EPF has two accounts. One for company A and one for company B. Now the problem is when I try to merge both the accounts it rejects my request as my basic salary in Company A was greater than 15000 and irrespective of that company A made a contribution in EPS (Employer Pension Scheme). Now without closing the EPS account from Company A there is no way to merge the EPF account. When I contacted company A, they said they don't have any solution for this problem it's been 10 months with the same issue. Any suggestions/solutions???

EPF transfer to non PF member

My brother’s current company doesn’t have EPF facility. So the previous company epf is not getting transferred. What should he do in this case? Will existing pf account continue to earn interest or should he withdraw the PF and invest somewhere else?
