@CrazyBats let's say a person has done leetcode grind and is a fresher. What next? how to find good companies as a fresher?

The biggest hurdle for a fresher is to be able to showcase their work and also prove they know more than just tutorials and/or courses. I believe the best way is to contribute to open source for learning how a code review works, what are the style guides and enforcement that teams have in place, how to write clean and maintainable code. I personally always am able to differentiate freshers who are all talk and can walk the talk, so its safe to assume your interviewer would also be able to do that.

You really need to focus on skills rather than DSA cringe fest

That will help after joining the company. Unfortunately DSA cringe will what take you to those companies.

Unfortunately @salt, the way to assess a candidate is still heavily relied on DSA and system design. This is definitely a super flawed method however the other available methods are not reliable and sometimes even unfair to the interviewee.
