Can UP have the next Bangalore?

30y back Bangalore was like what Mysore is today.

So definitely, any city can be next Bengaluru.

But I bet it to be a Gujrati city. Like Ahmedabad, gift city or any new concept like neom.

Extreme weather and air pollution is the main reason I left delhi ncr.

But blr has its own issues like language issues, protectionism and traffic ⛔ woes.

I feel no metro in India is good enough, infact a village is better than tier 2 or 3.

I see many people 100+ age living in Village.

Hard to find 80+ in metros.

UP and Bihar need 20y of double engine rule to gain from infrastructure development and that will bring economic growth alongwith IT sector

Problem with UP is that it’s the Indian Florida.

In Blr true you hear the recent news and you might feel a bit worried but not to the extent of UP.

People will rather have boards in Kannada as well and deal with traffic rather than getting shot by a random drunk who did it cause he’s related to a politician.

Moreover I feel opinions on this depend on which side you’re from. If you’re from the north you’d prefer UP. If you’re from the south you’d prefer Blr.

Can UP be the next BLR , geographically / economically maybe. What is going to be the challenge is the mentality of the people towards outsiders which blr isn’t great either but would still rank better than UP.

UP is good for the next part of Gangs of Wasseypur & Mirzapur not IT.
It's the people which make the city, if you ever have been to UP , you would never feel like settling down there .

The deciding factor may also include safety. Bangalore, I feel, is way safer to people in general than UP. If things continue the status quo, I don't see it changing anytime soon.

Everything sounds correct but crime is significantly down? Is that really true? Btw noida is already a tech city with lots of companies.

There is little chance that any city can become a tech / finance hub outside of already established hubs like Bangalore , Hyderabad, Mumbai etc. The reason is the agglomeration effect. Companies typically tend to establish near where the talents and / or where the supply chains are. It's a bit like US where the Silicon valley /NYC dominates the tech / finance scene even though the cost of living is sky-high.

Need to learn manners first, toxic bosses dont attract smart people

In economics there’s a concept called agglomeration effect. So basically the more tech companies are in Bangalore the more sense it makes to start a tech company there since labour pool, know how, etc is easy to access.

It’s possible to kick start it by SEZs and incentives for tech companies to create offices - a few years back lots of Indian startups like Indiagold and Ultrahuman set up offices in Abu Dhabi due to incentives from that government.

UP is a shitty place and will always remain one. Expressways don’t mean anything if the people are hell bent on regressing 2000 years.
