Career break for men

Someone(he) worked in BPO for 4 years and took a career break of 5 years. Now, if he wants to rejoin in IT, is it possible? Can someone give me ideas on how to make it possible?

Most of the Hiring managers don't take risk Or you should have great skills that a company is looking for. All the best
