Hi people, I'm completely new to this platform and it would be a great help if you guys can let me know about the career options available in the field of Finance for a fresher CA. I'd like to know about the jobs available, the top companies, salaries offered, etc.
In relevance of your skill sets:
Business Finance: Internal finance roles within cos, making forecasts for revenues, profitability etc. Working with business teams to evaluate opportunities etc
Research (sell or buy side): Equity research, credit research etc at a brokerage, bank or fulltime research firm. This is researching stocks and coming up with buy sell recommendations.
Investment banking: Mergers & Acquisitions, IPOs, Fundraising (Equity or debt)
Sales & trading
I wanted to know about the career option in finance as a ca fresher and what all things i can do to make my cv better. P.S. - i have no prior experience in finance.
