Hi guys Is installing auxiliary lights in a motorcycle legal in Bangalore? Getting mixed responses from different sources. Also my motorcycle does not have a Karnataka registration so will this cause any issues?

Afaik auxillary/fog lights have been banned in Bangalore roads with some new rule coming in recently. Driving w/o shouldn't be a problem, I've friends who drive around in TN/KL vehicles. But yeah, cops may stop you for a chitchat when their coffers are dried up, or if it's month end xD

How’s your experience to ride a Non Karnataka registered vehicle ?

I am planning to get my scotty to Bangalore which I am not planning to registered in Karnataka, since the re-registering cost goes to around 25k right from getting NOC from my state and paying road tax and other RTO stuff. What do you folks suggest should be good? Is it safe to ride non KA registered vehicle after 11 months period? Or should I get it registered?

Hooligans in Bangalore

With the increase in no. Of cases of bike borne hooligans terrorizing folks in cars etc, is it advisable to keep pepper spray as well as baton in the car, and if it is used in such cases where someone feels threatened n scared for their own safety, would it qualify as a case of self defence or would it amount to battery/assault charges? I would also install a dashcam both on the front and back side.

Do you face problems while driving a non karnataka car in Bangalore?

So recently moved to bangalore, I have my car back at my old place that I am planning to bring over here. Apart from this crazy job reservation trend I have noticed almost no cars from outside karnataka in Bangalore. (Atleast not of north) Are we facing discrimination on that front too? Anyone here who owns a non karnataka registered car? Can you share your experience?

License Requirements for Roadside Stall

Hi We are planning to open a roadside food stall in Bengaluru, it will be a makeshift roadside stall and will be operational for about 4-5 hrs per day. Wanted to know what all licensing are required for such small stalls? Which offices do we need to take permission from, like Police, BBMP etc? And, some people were saying that we would need to pay protection money to local mafia, is this true? If anyone can point to me in the direction where I can get some information that would be really helpful. Thanks
