Do you face problems while driving a non karnataka car in Bangalore?
So recently moved to bangalore, I have my car back at my old place that I am planning to bring over here. Apart from this crazy job reservation trend I have noticed almost no cars from outside karnataka in Bangalore. (Atleast not of north) Are we facing discrimination on that front too? Anyone here who owns a non karnataka registered car? Can you share your experience?
Hey tbh I have been driving a non KA car for the last 2 years. Haven’t faced any problem.
Hey, I do not work in BLR but went there with my TS passing car 2 yrs back. I stayed at my friend's flat which is in the Brookfield area. As outsider parking was not allowed inside the apartment hence I parked my car at the main gate entry for 2 nights. I was shocked to see both of my right side tyres were intentionally damaged from the front face of the tyre. Later on I got to know that it happens to many if it is not KA passing.
Have been driving one since last year. No issues so far in regards to outside number plate. Have gotten a dashcam installed with the recent hooliganism going on.
Not a car, but used an AP registered bike in Bangalore for 3 years. No issues ever.
It's too much hectic process. Lot of documentation process. I don't want to go to RTO office and listen to them this document is missing again and again wo bhi itne traffic m kaun chakkar lagayega.
I also want to go RTO to collect RC of my scooter, never got the motivation to deal with them.

Chill…close of half of cars in Bangalore are from out of Karnataka.

Irrespective of your state of registration, I'd def recommend getting a dash cam. Hooligans are aplenty in Bangalore.

Rto took a friends car, took bribe to release it
I've been driving a TN registered car for the past 2 years. So far no such issues with the cops. The cab and auto drivers constantly keep honking once they notice the number plate but that is expected i guess.
