How to differentiate a 0 forex debit card??
First post :) Basically I want to figure out the best way to market a debit card for international spends. We're offering zero forex, unlike literally anyone else. Just need to make more people aware of this offering since it's a big selling point. What is your experience with DCs from an international spends POV? What can be done better there? Any hacks to get people talking about it? Open to ideas/thoughts/criticism/feedback!

Having used a 0 forex debit card from Niyo, this is what I faced: ATM charges at foreign locations was a surprise. I was able to withdraw around 9500rs (converted to INR), but at the end, it costed me around 420rs extra. That's 4.5%. So, maybe highlight on this point, and maybe waive off these charges 🤨, or communicate to customers clearly about these. Maybe tie-up with different foreign banks, to know the charges, and provide customers suggestions about which ATM to use.

Great point 🤝 My advantage here is that we have a flat ₹100 fee on foreign cash withdrawals. But yes we should highlight this in comms. Thanks tons!
I made a visit to Europe few months back. I used Niyo and Thomas Cook card and disappointed by both of them.
Let me share my experience in short.
- Niyo have not implemented some "3D-Secure check (SMS-TAN, PIN, etc.)", so their card didn't work on EU payment gateway named logpay, this is what logpay told me, while Niyo had no clue why their credit card was not working for online payment.
- I had used tap and pay feature on both Niyo and Thomas Cook, it worked sometime, failed other time. Tried booking a tram ticket, both failed, no money deducted, upon coming to India both detected the money!
- Mailed to Niyo and Thomas Cook, Niyo took 15 days to return the amount while the shittiest among them is Thomas Cook, idiots made me fill all the unnecessary details my passport, etc. which they already have and then after 60 days says that the other party has denied the return as I've used the service.
- Niyo guy told me that they don't check the CIBIL for issuing the CC as their CC is FD backed, and they ended up checking it and I saw a dropped in my CIBIL score as I've already availed a CC from Axis.
Now, I'm going to raise consumer complaint for both of them for misleading me and not offering me the services I was intended to get.
I didn't find both of them any reliable, you should have cash in foreign countries. And what if the wrongly deducted amount is larger, I would be screwed there.
Shitty experience.
May be you can improve such experience with FI and train your CC guys to understand the problem in actual not paste the already fabricated template message.

Already have a federal account in indMoney so while making an account in epiFi with the same pan and email it says 'unable to validate user's information'. Called the customer service they said it because we don't have service at your location. I didn't even give my location anywhere, what do you mean If it's a neo bank and doesn't support services based on location? Random Twitter support rant

When they started that was the case....now it's possible to have multiple Federal Bank accounts created from different Neo banks....I have Fi, Jupiter accounts and both are working
