I am using chatgpt-4, paid subscription and would say that it just works good and helps me increase productivity at work. (i work in equity research and model validation profiles). Recently after Geminis Pro launch, i took their 2 months free trial to see how useful gemini is.
While working with chatgpt-4, i have used bard several times as a kind of second opinion. However after using Gemini Pro, i think it is far from chatgpt-4 in several ways, it might be better at comprehension sometimes than chatgpt, but it has several issues.
No option to upload pdf or csv or anything. Often tells that it can't write code while gemini pro claims it can. For pdf it tells that pls upload to drive and share link, but then refuse saying it doesn't have capabilities to read links. So, in all, gemini is not up to the mark.
I was also ready to pay second subscription for gemini if it helped, but, still far. Anyone of you have any thoughts on this? Any tricks for gemini to make it work better if i am missing something here.

Plus the scary part is they ask your concent to save charts and be reviewed by a human, manually as part of their AI training and improvement, and hence it asks not share anything that we are not comfortable someone viewing. And they also include 3rd party contractors as manual reviewers. This is a big RED flag for anyone wanting to use for increasing work productivity.
Same boat. I think currently gpt4 wins. If Google can add more features and keep the bundled 2tb space then it could be a win. But not right now
