Woke up to mail that CIBIL score was updated I have not applied to any credit products in this year
How can I check who requested this? Could this be a loan scam on my name?
Even I got a mail from ckycIndia -
“Your KYC record ******* registered with Central KYC Registry has been updated by KISETSU SAISON FINANCE (INDIA) PRIVATE LIMITED on 08-02-2024. Your Current Address, Permanent Address, Photograph has been updated.”

There’s an app called OneScore. You can use it to check your CIBIL Score.
For your use case , there is a section called Credit Enquiry in the app. If someone is taking loan on your PAN, it would get updated there ( though there is often a lag of 1.5 months as credit score is not real time based )
No, it’s just regular periodic update. You can ignore the email as sometimes without any update they publish such notifications.
Yes. The email can be ignored. For checking the CIBIL score yourself, you can do it easily on PayTM or (now) GPay. There may be other apps also…
