Hey y’all A friend of mine is looking for a job as a product manager He has close to 6 YOE With 2+ in product management in a big MNC He isn’t getting any calls though Is your company or any company you’re aware of is hiring product managers right now? All help is appreciated

How long is their resume?
How much are they asking in terms of CTC?
Are they not getting any calls or are they not reaching interview stage?
Did they try asking for referrals?
Are they location bound?

1 page Around 40-50% raise from current base Mostly not getting calls Yes, I believe due to not as much experience as needed Trying referrals, nothing major

Anything else you think that he might do that helps him?

Expectation is a bit high in the current market. In normal market too, I consider 30% as a good raise.
Rn people with high work ex are also applying for the same roles so that's another problem.
Try reaching out to HR consultants like from Zyoin, Careernet etc. They can help for sure.

If you don't mind me asking, what's the expectations in terms of CTC? Maybe they're looking for an APM role and ask is in accordance with total work exp of 6 years.

Yeah His current CTC is around 24 with 18 fixed. He’s expecting around 26-27 fixed But as you said, might be difficult for now How much do you think that is for an APM role, coming from a big MNC
