Cotester : Copilot for Software Testing
Recently, cotester was launched which claims to be the world's first AI for Software Testing: https://testgrid.io/cotester
If it really has potential, then somewhere down the line it will get acquired or someone providing similar solutions for coding will launch a similar product for testing.
If you are a QA reading this post, then this should be considered as an alarm to wake up and upskill yourself (if not doing already).
Cotester, another AI gimmick. QA professionals, wake up! AI is not your friend. It's a tool, not a replacement. "Jago grahak jago", understand the difference? What's your plan for upskilling?
It's important to understand the difference between how AI may not directly replace the QAs but those who know how to use AI in day-to-day work may replace the QAs who don't know how to use AI.
I believe that the way copilot helps in coding so that the developers can solve bigger problems like architectural decisions, implementation approaches; etc.
Similarly sooner or later a tool will come which can efficiently help testers in small tasks so they can focus on bigger problems.
