Abki baar fir 400 par !

1000 paar and game over 😅

Paraali/Stubble burning is the only reason. Whoever says otherwise either doesn't live here or don't know how these politics work.
Nobody gives a sh"t be it any party, so unless they start taking accountability, we're gonna see the same stuff every year.

The government doesn't want to make the farm Bros mad. So the rest of us have to suffer.

The crop waste and dry leaves burning has begun.
I go for an evening walk at an empty under construction flyover(for silence) near the yamuna floodplains in the evenings. There's a whole lot of illegal farms and this is just one of them burning. Come sunset the visibility drops to near zero because of all the other farms burning their crap.
Not discrediting the industrial and vehicular pollution at all, but this just goes to show how much it happens.
During peak winters, I've seen this endless smog even after heading 150km north of Delhi.

- Thanks to Google for telling us the truth. The govt. AQI on roads is just a joke, still saying the AQI is <100
- It's not just parali. Okay the farmers might be smart and want to mask their poison by Dussehra Diwali. But I saw so many Raavans burning Raavans in Gurgaon. Eg. M3M

Forget Ravan burning even crackers on Diwali don't contribute much to this pollution, you can read the research published by IIT Kanpur on this.

People expect the government to do something with the tax they have collected diligently but little do they know they don't work for its citizens.

Whoever starts moaning about Delhi’s air quality doesn’t live here or is ignorant of its geography.
It’s the same number of people living here, same number of vehicles, same level of industrial activity happening throughout the year yet the pollution peaks during diwali season.
Now these alarmist people will put the agenda that firecrackers, vehicular etc are the cause of this pollution but the real reason is as we approach winter season, air becomes denser, there’s no wind hence the particle remains suspended in the air.
It’s in this season where farmers also start stubble burning which adds on to the already polluted air.
It’s a period for 1-2 months and has been there since beginning. Atleast people who are actual delhites know this.
In my opinion Mumbai is even more polluted than Delhi but being a sea shore, it gets sea winds which naturally cleans up the air.

If you are choking,Thanks a farmer
