BN RATHI DDEV PLASTICS HDFCBANK I see these stocks having insane potential. Especially the first two. If you study their balance sheets you'll know, they're low debt, consistently growing companies with a very high quality upper management.

Good names. HDFC is a very defensive bet. Should compound at 10-15% YoY. One has to very optimistic to believe it can generate 3x outcome in 5 years.

As a research analyst I would never think of 5-7 Years in any stock. Any institutional investors in markets never depend on longterm holds they keep checking the results every quater and adjust their portfolios accordingly (If your ROI's oriented goal set) if your simply looking to leave a few shares to next generation then you should go with SBI or TCS or Lic where your aiming for no loss and low profit growths but stable companies.

Very defensive. If Reliance and HDFC 3x, then most likely Nifty will too. Then probably makes more sense for you to get Nity ETFs. Something to think about. Also, JioFin (ex Reliance ownership) is yet to show its potential

Need opinion on investing in US Stock

So I am looking at diversifying a bit. We are probably talking about 40k$-50k$ and I am primarily looking at a mixed risk bag of US stock. Semiconductor market: Nvda, Avgo, Smci, Amd What strategy would ya’al suggest? What other stock should I be looking at? Wanting to keep the maximum number of unique stock to be 5 and of course, preferring to not loose the principal lol. Medium term goals (~2y for a hopeful 2x+). Thoughts? 💭

Stock ideas to invest?

Have a couple of lakhs to invest lump sump in some stock. What are your picks and rationale behind that? PS: Have some MFs as well but don't want to go there right now. Need some good stock ideas for long term (hence no large caps). I prefer those who have decent business prospects but even more important is the price they're available at.
