How do you all manage to interview/look for a job while working full time?

Same as title. These days due to low job security and having faced layoff last year, I always feel the need to continuously do interview prep like DSA, LLD, etc even when I am not actively looking for a job. Plus, due to new technologies coming up, I feel the need to keep upskilling too. If I don't upskill or do interview prep continuously, I feel guilty as if I am wasting time. I feel like at this point, I am just living life to upskill and interview prep. Is there a way to balance all this along with work as it gets very tiring after a while and I feel burnt out?

Hello folks, I am facing a time management hurdle. I am doing a full time job which takes 9 hrs of my time. Office days you can make it 10. I am also prepping for my GMAT and aiming for a good score (already cancelled my previous 700 in older format, aiming for a 715+ in new GMAT FE). I have gained a bit of weight and BMI is slid into overweight by a narrow margin (83.5 kgs and 181 cms). I am also learning a few things related to my current job to upgrade myself. So I need to balance: job, prep, health and learning, all seeming mandatory at this point. I work 2PM - 11PM, have househelp for cleaning and a cook for cooking. People who have done this before, how did you manage? I am finding it extremely difficult. In theory, it looks easy as there are 24 hrs you know it's not the case. Between all the things I need to catch small breaks as well. Need advise.

People who are in a job and searching for new one, how do you make time for all the work needed for job hunting??? I think I'm going to have to sacrifice sleep and personal time to study/make all the stuff required

I am seeing lots of startups are firing these days even previous year it was happening. Would like to know the mindset of employees who got saved. Like to know what goes inside your head. How do you deal with this situation as it can happen with who got saved somehow, etc etc

Hi folks, It’s a very detrimental time for me. I have been working with an organisation I don’t want to name. My manager is beyond Toxic, each day there hasn’t been a single day he hasn’t yelled at me and few other new folks in the team regardless of us doing heavy sweeping. He is so Toxic that even through I have leaves he does not approve them, recently someone in my family passed away even through I discussed I will be out of station and would be on leave to which he agreed. He has rejected it on the 2nd last day, when I have booked the flights and assured my family that I will be there at this grave time when they need me. I am at a point where he has pushed me to a point wherein I don’t have an option but to resign which he did around the financial year closing so the increment will be divided amongst less number of people. I have an education loan to look after and responsibilities of my parents, I am the single breadwinner in the family at this point of time. Hanging in there is becoming really difficult. Any advice or help would really help.

Hey Viners, how do we tackle Monotony in an Ops role where we have to do the same thing again and again and there is no real work and growth . I feel kinda numb by it and creativity takes a hit . How do we tackle the depression arising from a very boring and montonous work ? Please advise, Job market down so finding other job openings became very hard !! How do we escape from this Mind Numbing Ops work and transition to something better like Engineering, Analytics etc.

I have 8 years of work ex. and have been looking for a job in strategic marketing/digital marketing for over a year now. It's mentally exhausting and demotivating. Is this how tough it generally is?
